Benefits to RSA

The park is being designed with the primary goal of Advancing the Missions of Redstone Arsenal. It is being developed under an Enhanced Use Lease (EUL) agreement in which the developer designs, develops, constructs, and operates a commercial development on Army land. The Army realizes value through in-kind benefits to Redstone Arsenal, such as future facilities and improvements on the arsenal that will include a relocated and upgraded Visitors Center. Eventually, the land and buildings revert back to Redstone Arsenal.

Because of its position right at Redstone Arsenal’s Gate 9, the project will create a “Gateway” into Redstone Arsenal. Gate 9 and the Visitors Center will be relocated farther south on Rideout Road to improve traffic circulation, facilitate development phasing, infrastructure and orientation of the secure campus.
